An iconic local legend and one of the first cats to play Jupiter in our earliest days in the 90s, Berkeley native son and saxophonist Joshi Marshall has been one of the first call improvisors since he took home the distinguished title as Most Outstanding Soloist at the Monterey Jazz Festival High School Competition. He is one of the founding members of the popular and innovative group Mingus Amungus, and has performed with Pete Escovedo, Carlos Santana, The Black Crowes and many more.
